Gordy Adams is our newest associate at HBTC with a broad base of both commercial and residential experience. His thirty years of construction experience as an owner’s representative with Kmart Corporation, Project Manager with a large general contractor and both custom and tract home builder brings numerous incidents, occurrences and stories from real life experiences to his classes. Gordy teaches various OSHA and other safety classes on a daily basis along with conducting “Mock OSHA” site safety inspections, develops emergency action plans, safety manuals and training programs for general and subcontractors, construction managers, developers and more.

Gordy is an extremely energetic speaker having won numerous Toastmaster contests and works with various youth ministries including Younglife and Wyldlife. His wife Diane is a teacher at North Gwinnett High School. In addition to instructing at HBTC, Gordy is a master water ski instructor and former Sea World show skier, martial arts instructor and former member of PSIA - Professional Ski (snow) Instructors of American.
